Over the last few years, through the City Centre Parish Link and the Burma Children's Fund, I have been involved with children in Burma. The Burma Children's Fund focuses on the care, health and education of orphans and children.
On my current visit I will assess present needs in the Mandalay Orphanage and hope to start work on setting up a sponsorship scheme for the boys. Since many ordinary things are unobtainable in the country I will also be taking medical supplies, educational toys, jigsaws and craft materials. "
