Text Size
If you wish to change the size of the text on this site you can do this by changing the settings on your internet browser.  From the toolbar at the top of the screen select View, then Text Size from the options and select which size you wish the site to be displayed in.  Please note changing this setting on your internet browser will change the setting for all websites you browse.

Alternatively you can use the text size buttons at the top of the screen selecting either larger, normal or smaller.  This will not effect your visits to other sites.

Site Layout
This site has been designed with existing accessibility recommendations and standards in mind and includes a low graphics and printer friendly version.  At the bottom right hand side of the page you will find these options.

Alt-Text Tags
Most images on this site are accompanied by a brief alt-text tag that identifies the image or its function. If you are using a graphic browser, alt-text tags are visible only if the browser's automatic image-loading feature is turned off.

Hyperlinks
Text hyperlinks are written so that they make sense when read out of context.

Skip Navigation
Each page on the site begins with a "skip navigation" link. Choosing this link moves the user directly to the main content of the page, bypassing the long list of navigational links which appears on every page. This permits faster and easier navigation for those using screen readers or for anyone using the keyboard rather than a mouse to navigate the site.

Readspeaker
This site has the facility to be read, using Readspeaker software.  Simply click on the link at the top of the page "Listen to the site" and you will be able to select an option to read the site.  You can highlight text and then click on read the site to read certain pages, rather than the whole site.  Please note you will need to have your volume on your computer on for this facility to work.

For further information on Readspeaker please see website: http://www.readspeaker.co.uk/
